Rev. Andrew came to LOUMC with experience spanning from youth ministry at Boise First to chaplain in the US National Parks to serving as part of the delegation to two General Conferences as well as being the past chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry. He has served churches in both rural and suburban settings and has had effective and innovative ministry in all settings. He came to us in July of 2022 from Hillsboro First UMC, where he served for 12 years.
Rev. Andrew has a passion for working collaboratively to support the beloved children of God to engage in authentic and effective ministry as individuals
and as a community. He has a heart for justice and peace and believes in the full inclusion of all God’s children in the life and ministry of the church. He
values family ministries and integrating spiritual practices into the everyday life of parents and children, adults, and youth. Clay engages everyone with a loving and playful heart and cares deeply about those among us who are on the fringes or being harmed by our culture and traditions.
He is a gifted and committed pastor.
