Christian Formation
Our formation approach is rooted in the Bible, highlighting God’s love and the grace of Jesus Christ. As disciples of Christ, we pursue advocacy for social justice and uplifting the marginalized, embodying our mission with love to God, ourselves, neighbors, and the world.
Children’s Ministry on Sundays
LOUMC, families receive a heartfelt welcome as they arrive. Each service begins with a friendly greeting, prayer, and uplifting songs. There is a designated kid’s zone where children can play during the service.
Children are invited to come forward for the Children’s Moment before heading to the nursery or Sunday School, allowing adults to continue in worship. Through engaging lessons, activities, and play, kids learn about faith, belonging, and God’s love, reinforcing the message that everyone is cherished and welcomed in God’s Kingdom!
Nursery
Infants-3 years
All Services
Families are encouraged to register their children in the nursery prior to each service. Families can choose to have their little one stay or attend the first part of the service and then join us in the nursery after the children’s moment.
Children’s Sunday School
Pre-K – 5th Grade
All Services
Families are invited to register their children at the welcome table before each service. The children will participate in the worship service and will then be invited to attend Sunday School following the children’s moment.
