Not for Ourselves
The life of faith is not measured primarily by how much it helps us or comforts us, or even in how many people we attract to worship, but in how much we love others and make the world a more just and loving place. At the beginning of his ministry, Jesus uses the words of the Prophet Isaiah as the blueprint for the work he is beginning. The same call – to work for the healing of God’s world – is our mission today.
