1. What was the source of quarrelling in today’s text? What was really at stake?
2. What was Paul’s first priority among the Corinthians? His vocation? From whence does he get his clarity?
3. How comfortable are you with talking about your faith? How would/do you go about it. Is it necessary?
4. What makes for a good sermon? What enhances or distracts from hearing/receiving the Word (deep breath, preacher!) How can proclamation and style be effectual for a diverse group of people?
