The Praise Band
The LOUMC Praise Band leads the music for our informal worship service, at 9:00am most Sundays, as well as many of our blended services during the summer. Several members of the band perform professionally with other bands and some have written music for worship and/or their other bands.
Contact Noelle Goodenberger, our Contemporary Worship Leader, if you have any questions or comments about the band.
The Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir leads the music during our traditional worship service at 10:30. Many small groups and soloists from the choir provide music during our blended services during the summer.
Choir director Chris Rust is an educator as well as a director, making Wednesday rehearsals fun and educational. He chooses a wide variety of music for the choir to sing, and understands that people are busy and is flexible when it comes to work and family obligations.
New members are always welcome – no auditions are necessary, though an ability to read music is a benefit!

The Vesper Bells
Vesper Bells is an adult 5-octave handbell choir. They play in our traditional service one time per month and on other special occasions. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 6:30 until 8:30. Our ringers have a long history of producing great music and close friendships, and members retire only because they can no longer see the music.
New members welcome. Reading music is a requirement for this group. Contact our handbell directory, Leanne Bilstrom, for more information
The Organ
The result of a very generous gift from one of our members, we celebrated the installation of a new, custom Rodgers Infinity 361 organ in our church sanctuary in June of 2017. Our new instrument is delighting and inspiring those who worship at our traditional service.
Rodgers Organs feature the most advanced in digital organ technology available today. Sampling organs from around the world, the tonal resources of the new Rodgers organ is simply outstanding. In addition to traditional pipe organ stops, the new sanctuary instrument also features a number of beautiful orchestral, band, and theater organ sounds as well. The organ features: 61 dedicated primary voices and a total of 376 additional sounds in the tonal palette; five divisions – Great, Choir, Swell, Pedal, and Solo; built in BlueTooth™ technology; mechanical draw knobs; special voicing for American, French, English; and German organs; velocity control for orchestral voices; 99 levels of memory; built in digital recording and playback; RSS room modeling; on board tonal finishing; and more.
