Resilient Aging, Part 1 – Blue Zone Living: How to Live to Be a Hundred

FreeJoin us on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm, beginning June 25, for this 4-week series on Resilient Aging. The presentations are free and open to the public, but we do ask that you RSVP for each presentation you will attend. The talks will last approximately one hour and there will be plenty of time for questions.
Our presenters, Nirmala Dhar LCSW, ACSW, Older Adult Behavioral Health Lead Strategist for OHA, and Rod Harwood, M.Div., MA, QMHP-C with GOBHI are experienced specialists in the field of older adult behavioral health.
Topics will include “Blue Zone Living: How to Live to be a Hundred”, “The Power of Connection: It’s good for your health and well being!” “Falls Prevention: Falling is not a normal part of aging!” as well as “Living Under the Umbrella of Dementia: What is that like and how do you take care of you as a care partner with a person living with dementia.” Older adults and caregivers will both benefit from these presentations.
