February 13 is Mardis Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday, Pancake Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday! It is the day before the beginning of Lent. Historically, this was a day to clean all of the “goodies” out of the house before the beginning of Lent; a season of fasting and repentence!
