At Lake Oswego United Methodist Church, we believe that Christians should strive to be good stewards of God’s creation. Volunteers serve by promoting awareness of the natural world, seeking environmental justice, and assisting in conservation and the wise use of natural resources. Our Sustainability team has worked on projects to help lessen our impact on the earth, and encourage greater appreciation of the miracles that God has provided.

Bat houses and mason bee houses were made and installed on the church grounds by one of our youth as a part of an effort to obtain certification by the Lake Oswego Sustainability Network. Low wattage LED lightbulbs have been installed in the Sanctuary by our Trustees. Special Earth Day celebrations and tree plantings have been hosted at the church as well.

Watch for announcements about new events and programs.
